What You Should Already Know:
You must have a CIS or CIT certification in IPC-6012D prior to taking the 6012DA addendum certification module.
The IPC-6012DA Automotive Addendum certification program is an add on module for the IPC-6012D certification. Candidates for the 6012DA Automotive Addendum certification must have completed their training and certification in the base document of IPC-6012D.
This course will review the significant differences in qualifications and performance specifications for rigid printed boards between the IPC-6021D and the IPC-6012DA. It will address specific requirements for rigid printed boards that must survive the vibration and thermal cycling environments of electronic interconnects within the automotive industry. It will demonstrate how the criteria is applied to the boards and how the criteria are different from the base standard IPC-6012D.

• Clear understanding of what specifications are required for the automotive industry
Course Time: 60 minutes
Testing & Certificate:
A Certificate will be issued to the student upon completion of the written exam for the course. A passing grade of 80% is needed to receive the certificate. The student will be allowed to take the test two times. If a passing grade is not achieved after the second test, the course will be locked and the student must repurchase the course.
