Are you a material handler and want to know how to eliminate ESD damage during component receiving, assembly transportation, and shipping? This course will provide material handlers with valuable education on ESD control. In cooperation with the ESD Association the course will cover everything material handlers need to know. The 3D animation clearly demonstrates what ESD is, what causes it, and how to prevent static damage during handling. The course also reviews typical material handling processes during component receiving, incoming inspection, stockroom storage, kitting, transport to / from production, and finally shipping. This program elaborates on the three major causes of ESD handling damage, and provides examples of improper handling for group recognition / analysis.
- Improve ESD control as a material handler
- Demonstrate ESD best practices in material handling
- Reduce ESD failures when handling materials in electronic assemblies
